It was by all accounts a disappointing season for Auburn in 2020. Losses to rivals Alabama and Georgia were blowouts, the Tigers were embarrassed by a loss to two-win South Carolina and it all ended with the end of the Gus Malzahn tenure after eight seasons.

USA TODAY Sports noticed the struggles on the Plains and, in its college football season grades for every team, the Tigers were way down on the list at a C- after a 6-5 season.

It is about where we at the Auburn Wire would have Auburn after the season. While there were some bright spots including Tank Bigsby, Seth Williams and Eli Stove, the lack of push on both sides of the line was a disappointment as was the play of Bo Nix in his sophomore year.
